Housing.com ex-CEO Rahul Yadav gets engaged to investment banker Karishma Khokhar

For those who were wondering what Rahul Yadav would do next, here’s the lowdown on his next venture. A start-up – not the kind you’re imagining – in his personal life beginning with an engagement.

The ex-CEO of Housing.com, who till last year often wisecracked on social media about being single, got engaged to Delhi-based Karishma Khokhar in a ceremony in New Delhi on March 12. A friend confirmed the development on the condition of anonymity.

While Yadav was graceful in a blue bandhgala suit styled by BPOSH Image Consultant’s Sonia Dubey, Khokhar donned a golden-sequined lehenga for the exchange of rings. Surrounded by friends and family, they made their relationship official with the popping of champagne.

According to the grapevine, 26-year-old Khokhar is an investment banker with ICICI Securities, with a background as an engineer from Delhi Technical University and an MBA in Finance from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. Both Yadav and Khokhar are reported to be travel enthusiasts, who coincidentally, were on separate trips to Europe recently. It remains unverified if they met on this European sojourn.

However, it has not stopped friends from gushing about the change in Yadav already. As one friend wrote on his Facebook wall, “Like I told him last week, he HAS definitely changed (for good) after meeting his better-half.”

Yadav was not reachable over phone and did not respond to ETPanache’s text message. While the details of the wedding are still unknown, here’s wishing the couple the very best.
